'Sanrakshan' - The Nature Conservation Program of DJJS came into being in the year 2003 with an aim of re- establishing the fading symbiotic relationship between Human and Nature. Today the humanity is faced by various environmental concerns interacting and influencing the basic circles of life. By virtue of our longstanding interaction with diverse communities across India, we have recognized that an environmental issue is unique in cause and effect in each area. This unique dynamics often goes unidentified by those who are most affected by it. Sanrakshan acknowledges these nuances and strives to enable individual actors to observe their life in relation to the larger issues and take preventive and corrective action to reach to sustainable solutions.
